Keeping 'Clean' while Traveling

A few years ago I became curious as to how one of the Master Pranic Healing teachers traveled nearly year round and maintained good health. When asked she passed on some very valuable tips which I have put into practice and found to be very successful.

One of the gems she passed on was the importance of sleeping in a silk sleeping bag. Traveling from one place to another you expose yourself to quite a bit of energy, the good, the bad and the ugly. She had taken two pieces of silk and sewn them together to create a sleeping bag that also covered the pillow.

Silk is an insulator and allows you to create a barrier between your own energy and that of the environment. This simple technique shields you from any unhealthy energy that may linger in hotel rooms, hostel beds or anywhere else you lay your head. Our systems expel alot when we are sleeping. Mattresses have a tendancy to hold onto dirty energy (emotional and otherwise) so knowing how to protect yourself can be important while traveling.

For those of us who don't sew, you can find a silk liner at places such as Mountain Equipment Co-Op running you about $54.00 CAN.
